About the Presenter

Chef Laila Bazahmleads the kitchen at Sitiand El Ravalwith a deep respect for heritage and bold Southeast Asian flavors. In 2025, Siti was named a Michelin Guide Recommended restaurant, recognizing the soul and craft behind every dish. Chef Laila has a great culinary background that she developed in kitchens in Manila, Singapore, San Sebastian and Barcelona in just 6 years (she discovered her vocation when she left a successful finance career at age 28). Iconoclastic by nature, Bazahm has pivoted between the most classic French fine dining and progressive Spanish recipes.
About the GAACC Women’s Club
The GAACC Women's Club is the Chamber's bi-monthly member meetup where women-identified leaders in the community come together to share a meal at one of our member restaurants while enjoying a leadership presentation or talk. The meetups usually last an hour and a half, with the first 30 minutes dedicated to networking and the next hour for the presentation and discussion. The GAACC Women's Club is led by our 2026 GAACC Women's Club Captain, Omaira Hanif, Founder of Lapis Integrative Health.
