About

Playing and singing of original music

✦ Fun fact

I was born in Manila, grew up between Queens and Texas, and somehow all of that ended up in the music I make now. Adobro is me bringing together the sounds, stories, culture, and people I grew up around and seeing what happens when they all share the same stage. The best part of performing is when the room stops feeling like strangers watching a show and starts feeling like everybody’s in on it together.

✦ Why this market matters
I love that FYP creates a space where Filipino culture can be celebrated in a way that feels current, creative, and genuinely part of Austin. As someone whose music is shaped by both my Filipino roots and the place I call home, being part of a market like this feels especially meaningful.

We are the Austin Filipino Cultural Dance Troupe, an intergenerational group dedicated to preserving and sharing Filipino culture through traditional dance. Our dancers range from youth to adults, united by a love for heritage, community, and cultural pride. We’re honored to perform across Central Texas and share the vibrant traditions of the Philippines with audiences like you. Tonight, we’re excited to bring a piece of Filipino culture to the stage—thank you for celebrating with us! We are still working on the dance we will perform.
