Beyond The Above began in 2021 as a way to save for medical school, but it quickly grew into my full-time dream. Every piece is wire wrapped by me using natural crystals and I love helping people create jewelry that feels personal and meaningful. One of my favorite parts of vending is hearing the stories behind the crystals people are drawn to and getting to connect with my community through art and conversation.
Growing up, I didn’t often see Filipino-owned creative businesses represented at events like this, so being able to share my work now feels incredibly meaningful. I hope my booth encourages others to celebrate Filipino creativity and reminds young artists that they can turn their passions into something beautiful. I’m grateful to be part of a community that uplifts one another.
