My business started right after I decided to retire from my food business last year. I had barongs and boleros intended for formal catering use like weddings and since I will not be using them anymore I put them up for sale. The demand was so great that gave me an idea to open this business which is something I can operate eventhough I'm already retired. What I love about my business to name some are: it doesn't require full time operation, it gives me opportunity to meet new people and promote Filipino tradition.
This market is important to me because my business is still new/young and this will be a great promotional venue. It will connect me to a wide range of Filipino groups.
